The Parent Access Collaborative (PAC) is part of SST8 and exists to share information and provide speakers on various disability related topics. Annually, we survey our group to see what they are interested in learning about and work to bring in speakers who will educate us on those topics. PAC is geared toward parents of children and adults with special needs, school districts (usually through parent mentors), and agencies throughout Medina, Portage, and Summit counties. We're also a networking group who share insights, strategies, and general information about our family members and their unique needs. Our meetings cover a variety of subjects and provide a great learning opportunity for those who can join us. You can find us on FaceBook at SST8 Parent Access Collaborative. This year we will meet 9/23/20, 10/21/20, 11/18/20, 2/17/21, and 4/14/21. Please register for each individual meeting.

The 9/23/20 meetings will cover the following topics:  SST8 Updates with Jenine Sansosti and Helen Brophy, Behavior - what an FBA/BIP process looks like, what information can and should be included, who is involved and how presented by Jessica Campagna, Behavior Specialist, Summit ESC.
