- The ten step Common Formative Assessment 2.0 process (Ainsworth, 2015) takes educators through considerations that are the foundation of effective data based decisions. The process presents an understanding of the link between standards, assessment, and instruction that is imperative for effective professional dialogue around student needs and progress, as represented in the Ohio Improvement Process’s 5 Step Process. Over the last two years, SST-8 has offered 4-day intensive training on the CFA 2.0 process for teams of district and teacher leaders.
