10 Keys to a Productive Special Education Partnership
To effectively meet the needs of students with disabilities, parents and districts must develop a trusting and productive partnership. To assist Parent Mentors, district leaders, and others in supporting this important relationship, SST-8 has developed a 60-90 minute learning session entitled,
10 Keys to a Productive Special Education Partnership.
This session highlights strategies and considerations for understanding parent/district roles and considerations, improving communication, maintaining essential documentation, and increasing empathy. This session may be downloaded and modified for local use. If you have any questions on the content or manner of delivery, please contact
Jenine Sansosti, SST-8 Director
