September 26
Understanding Chronic Absenteeism/Early Warning Intervention and Monitoring:
Gain a greater understanding of chronic absenteeism, the barriers of school leaders, and tiered resources for intervening .   
November 21
Introduction to the free ODDEX tool created by the Department of Education and Workforce to implement a MTSS approach to addressing students identified at-risk by one or all of the components, Attendance, Course Completion and Behavior.
January 7
Ramping up family engagement and leveraging the relationships formed can increase student attendance.  Participants will learn simple family engagement strategies to implement.
March 13
Increasing student engagement and attendance through explicit instructional strategies.  SST8 reading specialists will explain and demonstrate explicit instructional strategies that will lead to student success and a greater desire to attend school.
May 9
Increase staff and student attendance by developing strong positive relationships.  Strategies will be discussed and shared that increase attendance and decreases student and teacher burnout. 

Audience: building administrators, school counselors, attendance liaisons, PBIS/MTSS leads, Special Education directors/coordinators, and others involved in intervention development and delivery.
