MTSS for Equity is a professional learning network designed to meet the unique needs of curriculum and student services leaders looking to develop and implement effective Multi-Tiered Systems of Support in their LEAs. In particular, this network was developed to help leaders strengthen their understanding of the core components of MTSS, identify critical entry points for ensuring equitable opportunities for learning and success for ALL learners, work through systems-level problems of practice, and celebrate successes with colleagues engaged in similar work.
All LEAs with SPP Indicator Findings that led to a focus on tiered supports within their Self-Review Summary Reports will be invited to participate. This network was specifically designed to meet their needs, including how to reduce disproportionality in identification and discipline and raise reading/math achievement for students with disabilities. Audience: To ensure MTSS is developed in an integrated way, were commend registering a minimum of one curriculum leader and one student services leader and others are also welcome. Our sessions are aimed at supporting these key leaders.
