Description:
The Parent Access Collaborative (PAC) is part of SST8 and exits to share information and provide speakers on various disability related topics. Annually, we survey our group to see what they are interested in learning about and work to bring in speakers who will educate us on those topics. PAC is geared toward parents of children and adults with special needs, school districts (usually through parent mentors), and agencies throughout Medina, Portage, and Summit counties. We're also a networking group who share insights, strategies, and general information about our family members and their unique needs. PAC offers 5 meetings a year. Our meetings cover a variety of subjects and provide a great learning opportunity for those who can join us. You can find us on FaceBook at SST8 Parent Access Collaborative.  PAC will have five meetings this year. Please register for each meeting individually - 9/23/2020, 10/21/2020, 11/18/2020, 2/17/2021, and 4/14/2021.  This session will cover Sexuality in teens and young adults and pre-teens and younger children.  Presented by Donna Bernert, Kent State University and Katherine Antall, Cuyahoga County Board of DD.
