Renewal of 2019-2020 Awardees
The Department is providing some flexibility in the application process for schools and districts participating  in the PBIS Recognition System for the 2020-2021 school year.  PBIS Awardees for 2019-2020 seeking the same level of recognition for 2020-2021, will need to complete the following:  Application Information, Impact Statement, Digital JPG Photo and a completed School Profile Template of the 20-21 OH PBIS Application.

New Recognition Applicants and 2019-2020 Awardees Seeking Higher Levels of Recognition
The PBIS Recognition System application is open for schools or districts that were not awarded  in 2019-2020 and choose to apply for the 2020-2021 school year and for those that were awarded in  2019-2020 but want to apply for higher levels of award: 20-21 OH PBIS Application

?  Schools or districts that would like to apply for higher levels than they received in the 2019-2020 school    year for the 2020-2021 school year (for example, bronze to silver, silver to gold) can complete the PBIS Recognition System application by May 1, 2021.
?  Schools and districts that were not recognized for the 2019-2020 school year that would like to be recognized for their implementation efforts for the 2020-2021 school year need to complete the PBIS Recognition System application by May1, 2021, to be considered for the 2020-2021 PBIS Recognition System Awards.

It is now a requirement for SST consultants to use the Revised January 2021 PBIS Network Approved scoring rubrics. The scoring rubrics are included in the zip file labeled 20-21 OH PBIS Appendices.

These scoring rubrics are designed for consistent scoring across the state. Paper Evidence Binders may be organized using the Evidence Binder Tabs. Please do not submit Ohio applications to the Midwest PBIS Network website.

Schools or districts that choose to complete the PBIS Recognition System Application for 2020-2021 (new or seeking higher level award)  will need to complete the entire application package including the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) and walkthrough, whether it be in person or virtual. The TFI and walkthrough may be done virtually for districts or schools with remote learning. Please refer to the document Conducting the TFI and Walkthrough Remotely in the 20-21 OH PBIS Tools and Resources.

Schools and districts that choose to complete the application should submit the application materials to the regional State Support Team PBIS consultant by May 1, 2021. Schools and districts should consult with their State Support Team PBIS consultants about completing the TFI and walkthrough virtually.

In the 20-21 OH PBIS Tools and Resources folder there are also documents to support the Walkthrough and School Profile.
