Inclusion Day March 4- March 6, 2023 – Wear orange to the Akron Zoo and receive free admission for the day! March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and to kick off the month, the Akron Zoo is partnering with Summit County Board of Developmental Disabilities and celebrating people of all abilities. Share your photos of wearing orange at the zoo on social media using #includeME #akronzooinclusion. Parking rates apply
Egg-stra Wild Egg Hunt March 25-26, April 1-2, and 8 9:30 am - 11:00 am The zoo is hosting a wild egg hunt, perfect for your little kiddos. All egg-hunters will receive a bag of goodies following their egg hunt. Egg hunters are grouped by age. Guests of all ages can also enjoy crafts and a photo opportunity with the bunny! Tickets include admission to the zoo following the event. Egg hunters: $18, Member observer: Free, non-member observer: $12, and infants (under two) Free, but will not receive a treat bag.
Boo at the Zoo – October 14-15, 21-22, and 28-29, 2023. 11:00 am - 7:00 pm Treaters will visit 12 different themed stations around the zoo to collect treats. Anyone is welcome to buy a treater ticket, and we have allergen friendly options at each station.
Zoothing Boo at the Zoo – October 28, 2023 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am - We’ll be opening an hour early for guests with different abilities who don't like crowds or loud noises to trick-or-treat. Tickets are separate from general admission for Boo at the Zoo.
Wild Lights – Nov. 24-26, Dec. 1-3, Dec. 8-10, Dec. 15-23, and Dec. 26-29, 2023 5 pm - 9 pm. Celebrate the holidays at the wildest lighting display around! Dazzling lights, goodies, warm beverages, and more!
