Camp Ho Mita Koda is the very first and oldest summer camp in the world serving individuals with Type 1 Diabetes. Each year, the camp serves over 1000 children, adults, and families with Type 1 Diabetes and has a dedicated team of highly trained counselors and staff that make each camper experience memorable through countless activities.  Through partnerships with Cleveland’s world-class hospitals, Camp has highly skilled medical staff on hand 24/7.  Medical supplies are provided during camp through the support of some of the world-leading pharmaceutical companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Novo, Nordisk, and Sanofi.
