Description: SMILE Summer Camp™ is a therapeutic day camp led by a speech-language therapist. The camp alternates weekly with the 10-16 age group and the 6-10 age group. Campers engage in structured learning activities in addition to daily field trips to generalize skills while focusing on social skills, communication, and emotional regulation. This therapeutic program was developed specifically for children with disabilities to provide them with a fun and interactive way to develop social skills, participate in the activities that typical kids take for granted, and work on their IEP goals. We want to help your child have a better summer!
Camp is purposefully kept small so each child will get direct instruction from the therapist. Space is limited to a max of 6 kids per week. Staff includes a therapist and aide to maintain a ratio of 3 kids to 1 adult. Reserve your child’s place with a $100 deposit and complete our easy online registration form. Camp tuition includes supplies, visual schedules, transition visual supports, and daily field trips. Optional services: progress report and photo album. We can bill for camp to County Boards of DD, Autism Scholarship Program, Jon Peterson Scholarship, school districts/ESY, PASSS, insurance (partial payment), and more. Flexible scheduling so families can register for individual sessions or the whole camp program. **$$We have a list of grants and scholarships on our website to make camp affordable for every family$$** Camp Fills –Don't Delay –Register Today!!!
