Beginning in January 2014, the State Support Teams started supporting Career Technical Planning Districts (CTPDs) in nine counties, including those covered by SST8. This position is the result of a joint venture between the Office of Exceptional Children and the Office of Career-Technical Education (The Ohio Department of Education) to support CTPDs in serving students with disabilities.
SST staff will assist in the development of professional development presentations and resources that can be used across all CTPDs. The focus of the professional development will emphasize improving instructional support to career technical instructors serving diverse learners, with a particular focus on students with disabilities.
